“We love the food here, especially the manti! It’s my favorite comfort food on cold winter nights. Great service as well. Highly recommend!!!”

Lahmajun

$12.99

Thin flatbread topped with beef, peppers, tomatoes, parsley, and herbs.

“Fantastic little place that I wish was here went I went to college. Being Turkish, I am always looking for good Turkish food. This place did not disappoint,.the gözleme (flatbread) was authentic and very light. The crust on the lahmacun was crispy and thin. Su borek was very good and made in-house. Didn't get to try the manti, but saw it on a neighboring table and it looked very good. Very friendly staff and overall great experience. Will definitely return! Thank you!”

Gobit Kofte

$13.99+

Baked bread stuffed with meatballs, fries, mayo, and fresh vegetables.

“I generally don't write reviews, but I was so happy with our meal last night that I thought I would. It can be difficult to find places to eat that can accommodate some dietary restrictions, and these guys went above and beyond. We had the gobit kofte, cheese pide, eggplant salad, and lentil soup, all of which we recommend people try. We all found things to eat, no one became ill, the food was great, and everyone was happy after dinner. Will be ordering again!”

Turkish Appetizers

Cabbage Leaves

$9.00

Cabbage leaves stuffed with basmati rice and fresh herbs.

“I’m thinking this was my first time eating in an actual Turkish restaurant. I loved that the waitress kept my tea cup filled with tradition Turkish tea. The food was delicious! There are some vegan options; just talk it through with the waitress. The eggplant salad, shepherd salad, stuffed cabbage leaves are some safe options. Everything was delicious.”

Doner Kebab

Gobit Doner

$14.99+

Baked bread holds fries, vegetables, mayo, and your choice of filling.

“Very good!! I’ve been a few times, and everything I get is amazing! The best I’ve had so far is the Gobit Doner which is like a sandwich made on homemade bread. Fantastic!! They’ve done a great job with the atmosphere, and everything is just great! Surprised it’s not more busy! Give this place a try, you’ll love it!!”

Kebabs

Ayasofya Kabab

$16.99

Beef or chicken strips come with crispy fries, tomato sauce, and yogurt.

“This is a lovely Turkish restaurant that recently opened in Kalamazoo, just off the campus. We enjoy Turkish cuisine and were keen to try it out. We ordered the Iskender Kebab and the Ayasofya kebab. Both were delicious, authentic Turkish. I'd also recommend the lentil soup as a starter. The place was very clean and the staff were also really friendly. And considering we had starters, main meal, and drinks, $47 for two was quite reasonable. Definitely recommend this place.”

Pastries

Kunefe

$8.50

Shredded pastry baked around stretchy cheese is finished with sweet syrup.

“The owners were super nice and really generous. They were very welcoming. The service was incredible . Always had our beverages filled and kept us updated on when each dish was going to be ready and come out . The food was very tasty and well presented. Great knafe! The other desserts looked very yummy as well but I cant handle too much sugar at once, so I cant wait to try the rest of them each time I come back . All the desserts are imported from Turkey which is pretty cool.”
